Everett L. Taylor

August 17, 1929 — February 24, 2016

The Services Celebrating and Honoring the life of Everett L. Taylor, 86, of Orlando will be Sunday, February 28, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. in Brown-Cummings Chapel with Rev. Michael Frisbee officiating with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Everett was born August 17, 1929 in Chester, Oklahoma to George LeRoy and Charlotte R. Derr Taylor and passed from this life February 24, 2016 in Orlando, Oklahoma.
He was raise in Curtis and left home when he was 11 years old and served in the United States Marine Corps. He married and moved to Enid where he worked for Pinkerton Air Conditioning for nine years. Then went to work for Clements Plumbing where he worked for approximately 20 years. He at times worked as a self-employed plumber working for Tinker Air Force Base and other big operations. He retired in 1992 and moved to the farm at Orlando, Oklahoma. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters union #344. He started Honey-Do Apiary Honey making and distribution business in 1991.
He was the President of the North West Beekeepers Association and the Beekeeper of the year in 2002. He was a long time standing member of the Frontier beekeepers of Guthrie.
He is survived by three sons: Doug L. Taylor of Enid, Brian K. Taylor of Enid, and Jack Wayne Taylor of Orlando, two daughters Teresa J. Childers of Orlando, Darla J. Sisk of Guthrie, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Memorial may be made to Oklahoma Medical Foundation Division, heart division with Brown-Cummings serving as custodians of funds.
