The services celebrating the life of Marilyn Marie LaBrue Hatch, 79 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bishop J. Randal Hackworth officiating. Burial will be in the Cherokee Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Marilyn was born April 27, 1937 to Percy and Sarah Beach LaBrue in Rago, Kansas and passed away June 26, 2016 in Enid. She was raised and educated in Byron, OK and graduated from Byron Driftwood High School in 1956. She married Chester Bly Hatch December 24, 1955, this union continued for 44 years until Chester’s passing in 2000. She traveled various places supporting, her husband’s military career. She moved to Enid in 1981 where her and her family made their home. She was a member of the V.F. W. Auxiliary.
Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Lila Jean Richardson of Enid, Diane Yvonne Hatch of Pequot, Minnesota; son Billy Ray Hatch of Enid; 2 grandchildren, Jon Wesley Graham and Tonya Michelle Snider; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clarence “Sonny” LaBrue of Guymon, OK , Don LaBrue of Manchester, OK; 1 sister, Susan Faye Berry of Byron.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Fern Platt.
