The memorial services for Marion “Sandy” Eugene George, 62, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma formally of Enid will be held at a later date.

He was born July 6, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Leland and Evalene Mahnken George and passed from this life August 4, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was raised and educated in Enid where he graduated from Enid High School. He founded George Construction Company, a Commercial Building Company. He had construction projects from North Kansas to South Texas. He then moved to Oklahoma City worked as a Construction Superintendent until he was medically unable.

Mr. George is survived by his Father Leland of Enid; sister Lisa and husband John Penton of Oklahoma City; Son Damon and Daughter Carli both of Tulsa; one Grand Daughter; three Nieces, one Nephew, one great Niece and former wife Janet.
He was preceded in death by his mother. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
