Susan K. Fox

The services for Susan (Susie) Kay Pruitt Fox, 55, of Enid, will be held privately at a later date. Complete care cremation and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. She was born in San Angelo, Texas to James and Charlene Pruitt. She moved to Ringwood, OK with her family when her father was transferred for his job. She was the only member of her family that went from start to finish in Ringwood schools graduating from Ringwood High in 1979.
She worked at Simpson's Mercantile in Enid where she met her husband (Richard (Rick) W.
Fox, Jr.) of 33 years when he was stationed at Vance AFB for pilot training. During Rick's Air
Force career she faithfully followed him as a devoted wife and companion. They lived in: San
Antonio, TX; Shreveport, LA; Enid, OK; Merced, CA; Loring AFB near Limestone, Maine; and
finally back to Enid in 1992.
She is preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by
her husband of the home, Richard W. Fox Jr.; sister Pam and Dan Cribbs of Piedmont, OK; sister
Sandra and Rex Flottman of Winfield, brother Tom Pruitt of Longdale, OK; and step-brother
Gunther Lange of Hamburg, Germany and Numerous niece’s nephews. Memorials may be made in her name to the Paws for veterans with Brown-Cummings serving as custodians of the funds. Condolences may be made to the family online at WWW.Brown-Cummings.com
