The Home Going service celebrating the life of Sister Terry Lynne Andrews, 63, of Enid will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 28, 2016 in the First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Larry G. Featherstone of the New Light Baptist Church officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born December 5, 1953 in Kingfisher to Alva Norwood, Sr. and Edith May “Johnston” Norwood and returned home December 20, 2016 in Oklahoma City.
She was raised in Kingfisher and graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1972.
She married Myron Jones, Sr. after graduating from High School and the union was blessed with two children. She later married Roger Rice and the union was blessed with three children after moving to Wichita, KS. She then moved to Enid and married Rev. Harold Andrews on July 13, 2013 the union was blessed with one child.
The couple moved to Denton, TX. in 2010 and returned to Enid in 2001.
She was always very bright with the ability to recall any important family dates or trivia.
She was a naturally gifted Artist with an effuses on drawing. She was a great seamstress and cook and most of all was dedicated to her family.
She is survived by her husband Rev. Harold Andrews of the home, Children Myron Jones and wife Devin, Iyawna Dixon, Frank (Bucc) Jones and wife Lacey, Quincy Jones and wife Brittaney, Natieya Rowland and husband James. Tykie Andrews and Roger Rice, Jr. Two stepchildren Kinsey Wright and Linsey Wright.
Brothers; Laurence Norwood and wife Bennetta of Broken Arrow, Frank Norwood and Wife Roshel of Denton, TX and Two Sisters Gladys Lawrence and husband Sonny of Enid, Emma Alexander of Tulsa, 15 Grand Children and a multitude of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Brothers; Charles Norwood, Alva Norwood Jr., Larry Norwood, Luther Norwood, Douglas Norwood, Ronald Norwood, Otha Norwood, Sisters; Shirley Mitchell, Vernice Holly, Gertrude Norwood and Nieces Vernice Lawrence and Shanika Webster.
Memorials may be made in her name to Terry Andrews with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
