March 20, 1963 — January 26, 2017

The funeral service celebrating the life of Debra K. Brown, 53, of Enid will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday January 30, 2017 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Dominick officiating and Pastor Dr. Greg Hook co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born March 20, 1963 in Hornell, New York to Jim and Carol Crabtree and passed from this life January 25, 2017 in Oklahoma

She was raised in a military family living in seven different states and three foreign countries. She attended High School in LaVista Nebraska and later received her G.E.D. She moved with her family to Enid. She married Rick Failing and from this union came two daughters. She married Joel Brown in 2005 in Enid.

She attended Your Family Church. She enjoyed volunteering in the church food pantry and helping forgotten ministries and providing Christmas gifts for the children. She was an advocate for animals and loved her dogs. She cherished spending time with her parents, children, and adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Joel of the home, her parents of Enid, her Daughters; Serah and husband Joey Watson of Enid and Lynda Skrdla of Enid, Three Grand Children; Taylor, Joshua and Trysta, Brothers; Eldon, Randy and wife Dee and Greg McCormick and wife Roberta; Five Nephews and Two Niece.

Memorials may be made in her name to Loaves and Fishes with Brown-Cummings Serving as custodians of the funds.
