Betty J. Ramsey

Betty J. Ramsey passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017, in Oklahoma City. Betty was 77 years old. She was born October 6, 1939 in Enid to Irene and Lawrence Barnes. She was baptized on September 20, 1951.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday March 9, 2017 in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Enid, with the Rev. Ted Kuschel officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She went to school at Lincoln, Emerson, and Enid High School. She married Rex Ramsey on December 15, 1956 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She worked in the family business, Ramsey Termite Control, Enid Tree Specials and Ramsey’s What Ever.

Betty was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she was a member of Women on Missions.

Betty is survived by daughter Donna Ramsey, sons: Robert and his wife Renee Ramsey and Mike and his wife Debbie Ramsey. She has eighteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, husband Rex Ramsey, a daughter Katherine Ramsey, and a son Mark Ramsey.

Memorials may be made to Women on Missions, Touch India with Brown-Cummings serving as custodians of funds.
