The services celebrating the life of Mr. Johnny C. Carson, 61, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday March 28, 2017 in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lester Lowry officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born August 4, 1955 to Mr. Jewell Sr. and Edith Zero Carson in Pawnee, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on March 22, 2017 in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Enid and traveled all over the world with Carnivals and then worked in the oil field until he was medically disabled in the late 1990’s. He always stayed busy with odd jobs and had a host of many friends and family he would gather with to enjoy coffee, conversation, and card games. He had a vibrant sense of humor that he was always known for.
He is survived by his Brothers; Mike Carson and wife Alma, Bill Carson and wife Poncho of Omak, Washington, Ricky Carson of Enid, Sisters; Donna Thompson and husband Alan of Enid, Mary Kay Prince of Anadarko, two daughters; Rebecca Thompson of Enid, and Orbana Solomon of Omak, Washington, five Grand-children, numerous nieces, nephews, Grand-nieces and nephews, and Great-Grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents, and brothers Gary Carson, and Jewell Carson Jr.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American heart Association with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
