Anita Cole

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Anita Cole, 62, of  North Enid, will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday August 28, 2024, in the First Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Wilbur Flynn officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings; A life celebration home.

Anita was born December 11, 1961, to Gary and Connie Huffman Roberts in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed from this life August 21, 2024, in North Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Chisholm High School. She then graduated from Enid Beauty College. She worked for a short time at Advance Foods. She began her career in cosmetology working at Super Cuts for many years before opening her own shop  in 2014, “Studio 580,” in Medford, Oklahoma, that was still in operation. She was a Christian and loved to study her Bible. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Elton Cole, of the home; two children Jason Chambers and wife Alisha, and Makalynn Cole; one grandson, Alix and one granddaughter, Alyssa; one sister, Kim Miller; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Connie Huffman and two cousins Kenny and David Roberts.
