Bruce Earl Williams

The services celebrating the life of Mr. Bruce Earl Williams, 69, of Enid will be held privately. Complete cremation care is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born June 8, 1947 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma to Keith and Catherine Legg Williams and passed from this life on May 30, 2017 surrounded by his family.

He was raised and educated in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated in 1965 from Parkview High School. After High School, he worked as a restaurant manager. On August 6, 1976, he married the love of his life Mrs. Georganna Ramsey, and began work as an office clerk with the Otis Engineering Company, later becoming part of Halliburton. He worked his way up in the company and traveled the world as a Completion Specialist.  He worked at the home office in Houston, TX. from 1998 until his retirement in 2004.

He then moved to Enid to be near family. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and a member of the North American Hunting Club.

He is survived by his wife of the home Georganna Williams, daughter; La Tisha C. Williams – Brink and husband Jason, son; Terry Cantrell and wife Kim,

Seven Grandchildren, and three Great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
