Donald Richart

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Donald Stanton Richart, 74, of Enid will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday April 19, 2024, in the Brown-Cummings Chapel. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Donald was born January 24, 1949, to Lawrence and Geraldene Marie Freese Richart in Pittsburg, California and passed from this life April 1, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Donald was raised and educated in various places while growing up. He enlisted in the United States Army at the age of seventeen serving during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged September 1, 1967. After being discharged he returned to civilian life in Montana. He married Carolyn Richart February 11, 1979, and from this union came two children Nancy and Jessie. He worked many years in construction as a home builder before becoming medically disabled. He moved to Enid, Oklahoma to be near his children. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Richart; daughter Nancy Ammons and husband Douglas; son Jessie Richart and wife Glenna; good friend Johnny Wilson; his grandchildren, Allen and John Richart and Brooklyn Richart; and one brother Marvin Richart and wife Patsy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
