The graveside services celebrating and honoring the life of Forrest Wayne “Frosty” Grubb, 86, of Garber, will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday November 2, 2022, in the Garber Cemetery with Pastor Gary Miller officiating under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Frosty was born July 14, 1936, in Tiger, Oklahoma, Creek County, to Wardie Allan and Minnie Lou (Amour) Grubb, and peacefully went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Garber, Oklahoma.
He graduated from Hamilton High School, Kansas in 1954 and soon married his high school sweetheart Patricia Ann “Patsy Ann” Loveland who preceded him in death December 26, 2021. They were married 67 years and raised four children. He served two years in the United States Army with training at Fort Carson, Colorado and Duty at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas from December 1957 to December 1959. The couple settled in Garber in 1965. He was self-employed in Perry and later Garber Pump and Supply, Caton Oilfield services and then FW Grubb Oilfield Services. He led a full and happy life and enjoyed his family and many friendships throughout his life, later settling in to watch much golf and baseball. He loved his children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed, though he repeatedly spoke of his readiness to be back at home with Jesus.
He is survived by one daughter Theresa Grubb Horton and one son Alan Jeffrey Grubb; eighteen grandchildren and great grandchildren, including Tristan Dahl, Trinity Dahl (Wes White), Jonathan Dahl (Dana), Joseph Horton, Isaac, William, Addelyn, and Dominic; Patsy Ann Grubb (Mitch Judd), Ashley Grubb, Devon Grubb, Travis Grubb (Darian), Cristine Kaye, Pierce Alec, Kinlie, Brandt, Xander, and Pierce Joshua; daughter in law Penny Grubb; one sister Monnie Lou Grubb, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews that he also cherished and beloved cousin Barbara Patton.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patsy Ann; two children Kevin Wayne Grubb and Karen Denise Grubb; his parents; brothers Kenneth, Clifford, Windy, and Jackie Grubb.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Hospice Circle of Love with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
