F. "Fuzzy" Lee Morris

The services celebrating and honoring the life of F. “Fuzzy” Lee Morris will be held privately, at a later date in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Fuzzy was born September 16, 1944, in Faribault, Minnesota; he was one of nine children. Fuzzy and his brother Bill were adopted by Fredrick and Myrtle Fliegel Moratzka when he was eighteen months old; Fuzzy passed from this life April 15, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Rice County graduating from Rice High School with the class of 1962. He joined the United States Air Force directly after high school and proudly served his country in Radio Communications for six years.

He worked as an independent representative dealing with accommodation medals until 1990 he then worked for the United States Post Office repairing large machinery until 2000. He married Paulette Rathundle-Brisson August 22, 1996, in Illinois. The couple moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 2007.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed talking about his vast travels with his military career and tinkering with everything, he was mechanically gifted.

He is survived by his wife Paulette and fur babies, Gypsy, Sabrina, Sassy, Coco, and KC, of the home, who miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors Association with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
