The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jeto Joash, 70, of Enid, will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday November 10, 2022 in the Marshallese Church of Christ. Burial will be held 3:00 P.M. November 12, 2022 in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Jeto was born January 16, 1952, to Birash and Sheila “Jesse” Joash in the Marshall Islands and passed from this life October 28, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma. He was raised and educated in Ebon Atoll Island and Majuro Island and attended college in Palau Island. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. In 2009 he moved to Honolulu Hawaii where he lived until moving to Enid in 2012. He then worked at Tyson Foods as a Machine Operator. He enjoyed going to church, serving as a deacon, being a mechanic, and playing basketball when he was younger. He is survived by his children, Gregory Roy Joash, Berlene Lokeijak, Ryan Joash, and Dorsie Joash, siblings, Bina Joash Heneus, Bernice Joash, Marlene Joash, Wagner Joash, Douglas Joash, Keson Joash Helkena, Johnpaul Joash, Kijab Joash Dribo, and Rokson Joash, twenty-one grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Lee Joash, parents Birash and Sheila Jesse Joash, sisters, Jorlang Joash and Joseline Joash Mera and brothers, Abinto Joash, and Lester Joash.
