The funeral service celebrating and honoring the life of Joe Long, Sr., 63, of Enid will be held Friday December 3, 2021 in the North Garland Church of Christ with Pastor Eric Granburg officiating. Cremation will follow. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed Via Brown Cummings Funeral Homes Facebook Page.

He was born to Harvey (Gene) and Avanell Dowers Long November 16, 1958, in Albuquerque N.M. and passed from this life November 19, 2021, at his home. He moved to Enid as a child with his family and attended Pioneer Jr. High and graduated from Waukomis High School in 1976.

He then started his own small engine repair shop. He then went to work as a machinist for several local machine shops. In 2003 he opened Ramco Machine shop which he owned and operated until his retirement.

He was a hard worker and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed Gardening, relaxing at home and had a love for animals.

He is survived by his mother, of Enid; two sons, Joel II and Colby Long both of Enid; 5 Grandchildren; one brother, Steve (Tammi) Long, of Enid; two sisters, Cathy Burkhart and Lisa (Dusty) Hugaboom all of Enid and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.
