The Services celebrating and honoring the life of Kenneth LeRoy Turner, 72, of Cushing, formerly of Enid will be held privately at a later date. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born October 26, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma to Frank F. and Marie Frances Turner and passed from this life on January 31, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Enid, OK. Where he graduated from Enid High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1968-1970. He toured Vietnam and was in the combat zone for a short time. He then served in the National Guard for over ten years. He moved back to Enid where he worked for several donut shops, Sunnyside Center, the Trash department at the City of Enid, and then worked in the Dietary Department at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. Following he worked for Bond Bakery as a baker for over five years then for Goldspot Dairy. He also mowed lawns every summer.
He is survived by his sister, Pam Roark Hatfield, of Enid, OK., and brother Larry Wayne Turner, of Washington State.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
