Larry Dale Byrd

The Funeral Services celebrating and honoring the life of Larry D. Byrd, 62, of Enid will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday December 5, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery of Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was raised and educated in Perry and Graduated from Perry High School in 1977.

Following high school he worked at his family’s floral shop and also as an interior designer. He then moved to California and worked as an interior designer.

In 1982 he returned to Perry to manage Byrd Floral Shop. He moved to Enid in the mid 1990’s where he managed the Best Western and the Five Star restaurant.

He then managed a Conoco location before opening BG’s Bar with Wade Grider.

He enjoyed cruises and gambling and had his black belt in shopping.

He is survived by Deana Lucero, Angelia Wing and husband David, Cameron Cherb, Kalie Lucero, Dylon Cherb, partner, Wade Driver, and Kaylee Burby who was like a daughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
