Mrs. Jewell Singleton

June 5, 1940 — December 1, 2018

The Home Going Celebrating the life of Jewell Dean Singleton, 78, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 15, 2018 in the First Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Wilbur Flynn officiating. Cremation will follow. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born June 5, 1940 to Richard Jr. and Nora Phillips Singleton in Austin Tx.

The family moved to Ponca City where she was raised and educated.

She was medically disabled from a young age suffering from seizures.

She was raised with her sister as her main caregiver and since 1976 she has lived with her sister.

She enjoyed attending the Opportunity School of Enid, Going to church, bus trips to the casino and dancing.

She is survived by her sisters; Dorothy Ross, of the home, Marcy Mae of Denver, Linda Osawe of Las Vegas and brothers; Michael Reddick of Los Angeles and Leonard Reddick of Fresno and a multitude of nieces, nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents, one brother, Bobby Lee Singleton, and one sister, Lillie Mae Singleton.
