Nancy was born January 29, 1942, to Elmer and Ruby Ratcliff Freelove in Claremore, Oklahoma and passed from this life August 20, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Claremore and Missouri and moved to Enid at the age of sixteen. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1960. She worked for many years at the Enid State School as a caregiver. She also worked in the food services industry making all of the biscuits for Hardees. She later worked at Evergreen as a caregiver and mowed lawns for extra income. She was always very nurturing and hard working. She was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with her family never missing any of her grandchildren’s events. She was always up for an adventure whether that be chasing tornados, going to a rock concert, or floating the river; She carried tools in her purse and she knew how to use them. She was the true definition of a grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters Patty Lester and Karen Sellers; one son, Tony Schaffler, all of Enid, five grandchildren, Cyrus, Codi, Chris, Casey and Eryan; and two great grandchildren, Dani and Merit.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Ruby Freelove.
