Nicolas Barnett

The Memorial Service celebrating and honoring the life of Nicolas Alexander Barnett, 22, of Enid, will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Nicolas was born on July 17, 2000, to Justin Seckman and Robyn Jonya Barnett-Nafus in Enid, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on September 1, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Nick was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 2018. He studied electrical automotive and robotics technology at Autry Technology Center graduating in 2019. He began working at Aircraft Structures International as an Aviation Mechanic in 2019. Nick was most recently working at Braums. He enjoyed playing video games, going to the gym, working out and lifting weights, working on and tinkering with his ‘84 Corvette, and helping his dad work on cars. He was constantly fidgeting with something.

He is survived by his brothers, Austin Barnett, Zayne Nafus, Logan Bruner, and Hunter Edwards; half-siblings, Virginia and Alexander Seckman; step-siblings, Austin Hagerman and Steven Turmel; his father and stepmother, Justin and Lena Seckman and his girlfriend, Brittany Momsen.

He was preceded in death by his mother Robyn Jonya Barnett-Nafus; and his grandmother, Glenda Wickham.
