Pamela Sands

The Celebration of life honoring Pamela “Pam” Sands, 69, of Jet, Oklahoma will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday December 11, 2022, at the Stride Bank Center in the Grand Ballroom. Services are under the direction of Brown Cummings Funeral Home.

Pamela was born April 27, 1953, to George E. and Letha F. Bell Gossett in Gassville, Arkansas and passed from this life November 26, 2022, in Edmond, Oklahoma.

She attended Enid Public Schools graduating with the Class of 1971. She attended Enid Vo Tech and graduated in 1982 with her LPN. She began working for several years at Enid Regional Hospital. She married the love of her life Robert Sands October 5, 1991, in Enid, OK.  For the last thirty years Pamela was the co-owner of Oklahoma Animal Control Center. Pamela also worked the last twenty-five years for the water department in Kremlin, Oklahoma. Pamela and her husband Robert moved to Jet, Oklahoma in 1996 where they still reside. For the last ten years Pamela and her husband have thoroughly enjoyed being Mr. and Mrs. Clause throughout Northwest Oklahoma touching so many lives with their laughs and smiles. Pamela also was a member of Sonshiner and loved playing her violin and mandolin, and loved playing gospel music at The Civitan Homes, churches and nursing homes. Pamela also enjoyed gardening, raising her chickens and giving the eggs away; she had a passion for helping others. She and her husband enjoyed taking trips to Branson and were inseparable. She was a member of the Nazarene Church of Jet.

She is survived by her husband Robert Sands, of the home, her children, Jennifer and Brian Johnson, Ben and Dottie Winters, Amy and Bobby Trekell, and John Sands, and bonus daughter Jhona and Brody Ronistal grandchildren, Amanda Chenausky and husband Josh, Krissinda Hankins and husband Josh, Jessica Bowden, Christopher Hurst and wife Brittany, Kalob Hurst and wife Bella, Daelee Johnson, Joslynn Johnson, Bryce Winters, Brandon Winters and wife Ashley, Jonathan Winters, Gabbie Winters, Robin Trekell, Katie Trekell, Nikkolas Sands and wife Taylor, Kelie Trekell, Zachary Zuniga, Robert Trekell, Jayden Sands, Kymber Sands, Riley Zuniga, John Sands Jr., Draven Sands, Sian Sands, Kyri Sands, Seirra Stout, Megan Stout, Stetson Ronistal, Weslee Lewis Ronistal, Arin Ronistal. Forty great-grandchildren,and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and one brother, great granddaughter Emma Winters, and grandson Randy Stultz.
