Richard G. Ford

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Richard “Rick” G. Ford, 64, of Enid will be held privately at a later date. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born September 19, 1955 to Alfred Dennis and Joyce Faye (Driver) Ford in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed from this life on October 12, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educate in Jenks, Oklahoma where he graduated from Jenks High School in 1974. He then moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1976 and worked at Northrup as a Fire Hazmat specialist for 20 years. He was the owner and operator of Outback sporting goods, and Absolute Pest Control. He married the love of his life, Toni Howard in 2002 in Enid. He returned to OSU and pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional  Science. He was a member of the Ambucs club of Enid. He enjoyed playing golf, cooking, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Toni Ford, and sister Barbara Kay Ford, of Tulsa, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in his name may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association of Oklahoma with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
