Robert E. Lee

November 7, 1952 — March 25, 2019

The funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of Robert Edward Lee, Jr, 66, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday March 29, 2019 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park cemetery of Enid. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings  Funeral Home.

He was born November 7, 1952 in Enid. OK. to Robert Sr. and Mildred Young Lee.

He was raised and educated in Enid attending Enid Public Schools. After High School he attended Vo-Tech receiving his license as an air conditioning and refrigeration technician.

He married the love of his life Brenda Gay Varner Bond on December 22, 1973 in Enid.

He worked for Northrup at Vance Air Force Base as an H.V.A.C Technician until he retired from Northrup in 1994.

He then moved to Tahlequah, Ok. and worked for the Cherokee Nation as an H.V.A.C. Technician.

In 1999 he retierd to Enid  and worked on cars as a mechanic and had a passion for raising show pigeons, cultivating Bonsai trees, gardening and being outdoors.

He was a certified master teacher of martial arts in Kung Fu and Karate. He was also one of only two masters of World Jeet Kune Do Federation instructing, Goju Ryu, Karate Do and Jeet Kune Do, Gung Fu and was the founder of Yang Chi Do.

He is survived by his children; Melanie Marie Lee, Zandra Renee Lee and Jeremiah Bruce Lee, grandchildren, Destiny Jade Welch, Trenton Micheal Welch, Kimberly Dawn Lee, Kelly MacKenzie Lee, Tara Caitlin Lee and Blake Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
