The Graveside service celebrating and honoring the life of Ruby Manahan, 94, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday April 19, 2022, in the Memorial Park Cemetery Garden Chapel, with Reverend Tom Stanley and Reverend Don Johnson officiating under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Ruby was born February 10, 1928, to Allen and Eva (Howard) Kimbrough in Mill Creek, Oklahoma and passed from this life April 12, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.
She moved to Ada Oklahoma at a very early age with her family and graduated form Horace Mann High School in 1946. She then attended East Central State College. In November 1963 she moved to Enid and worked at Newman’s Mercantile and the Opportunity School. She also spent many years working for the family Trucking Companies. She was a member of the Central Christian Church.
She is survived by her children A.K. Manahan Jr., Sandy Manahan and Kerry Manahan of Enid, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, A.K. Manahan III, Madeline Manahan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma., Sarah Manahan, Shane Manahan, and Kelly Manahan of Atlanta, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her former husband A.K. Manahan Sr.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Central Christian Church caregivers with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
