Steven Clark

The graveside services celebrating and honoring the life of Steven “Steve” Clark, 59, of Enid,  will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 1, 2023 in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Steve was born May 24, 1964, to Thomas and Betty Clark in Canton, Illinois and passed from this life June 27, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Canton graduating from Canton Senior high School in 1983. He worked as a mechanic and built houses for Schwark Construction. He was also a greenskeeper at Papaco Golf Course in Phoenix, Az. In 1992 he moved to Enid, Oklahoma to be near family. He married Loretta Martin on November 4, 1992. He continued to work at odd jobs and could fix absolutely anything and proudly took the role as a stay-at-home father. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing disc golf, and He liked shooting targets at the gun range.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Clark, of the home, his children, Jamie Clark, Josh Martin, and Misty Sanchez; sisters, Alice Smith, Jeanetta Malone, Janice Archebique, Betty Fitch, Joanna Pratt; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Donovan Hill; sisters Lula Burgess, Joyce Bearden, and Evelyn Thomas; and brother August Clark.
