The Memorial Service Celebrating and Honoring the Life of Victor Rico Martinez, 71, of Enid will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday January 28, 2019 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born March 6, 1948 in Rotan, Texas to Antonio and Avelina Rico Martinez and passed from this life on January 23, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educate in Enid and began working in Learner’s Women’s Clothing Shop as their custodian. He worked for Acme Brick Company and then Vance Air Force Base from 1972 until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved to play the guitar and absolutely loved everything Elvis.

He is survived by his sister Mary Chamber, of Munford, Alabama, and brother, Raymond Martinez, of Enid, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Tony, Joe, Bill, and sisters Beatrice, Antonia Rojas, and Cruze Lemon.
