Shaun is the proud husband to his wife Amy, and father to their daughter’s Emma and Willa.


He is the fourth generation of his family to own and operate Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He is an Enid native, receiving his Eagle Scout from Troop 6. He played football for and graduated from Enid High. After college, he graduated from the Dallas School of Mortuary Sciences. While in school he worked at the country’s second largest funeral home directly under the lead service director. Upon graduation, he was given the opportunity to manage a funeral home and cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico and assist with its sister firm in Albuquerque. After a successful career in New Mexico, he made the decision to keep a promise he made to his grandfather Gerald Brown Jr. at the age of four and return to his family’s firm. He returned to Enid in 2000 as the fourth generation of his family to own and operate Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He and his family are active members in their church. He is a nationally certified Funeral Director, a nationally certified Embalmer and an Oklahoma certified insurance producer/agent. He has served as the past chairman of the board of the Oklahoma Insurance Department Funeral Anti-fraud unit, appointed by Insurance commissioner John D. Doak. Past member of the Field Advisory Committee for the Oklahoma Funeral Board, current President of the Oklahoma Funeral Home owner Association, current board member of the Cimarron Boy Scout Council and sits on the Eagle Scout review board. He was the past president and is a current member of the Enid Rotary Club, past president of the Sons and Daughters of the Cherokee Strip, past president and current board member of Enid Noon Ambucs, Class XV member of Leadership Greater Enid. He is a past president of the board of the Grand National Quail Club and current board member of the Grand National Quail Club foundation board, two time past president and current board member of the Air Force Association chapter 214. He was a past recipient of the Air Force Exceptional service award for the state of Oklahoma and a past recipient of the Air Force Association Medal of Merit for the state of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Air Force Association person of the year in 2022. He is the current honorary commander at Vance Air Force Base. He was a past recipient of the top 10 under 40 of Enid and is a past board member of the Enid Chamber of commerce.


Shaun has a passion for serving and caring for the people that make Northwest Oklahoma such a special place.

Joe and Becky Brown Cummings are the third generation of family. Both are Enid natives and Becky has been at the funeral home since birth. Joe joined the funeral home in 1976 and holds a bachelors and masters from O.S.U. in English as well as a bachelors of science from U.C.O.. Gerald L. Brown, Jr. passed in 1983 and Patsy retired in 1991. At that time Joe and Becky purchased the funeral home to ensure the high standards of care for Enid and surrounding communities.

Nikki has been an Enid resident for her entire life attending Enid Schools and graduating from Enid high School in 2001. She is the proud mother of four children. She achieved her associates degree in Early Childhood education from Northern Oklahoma College and worked in Child care for fourteen years. She joined the Brown-Cummings firm in 2017 as the office assistant and is now the office manager. She has a desire to serve others and loves helping families.

Robert has been a Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1995 he has owned and operated a funeral home in Watonga and Okeene. He was the Okeene Assistant Fire Chief and Public Relations Officer from 2011 to 2018 and has served on the Okeene volunteer Fire Department since 2010. He is a member of the Oklahoma D/MORT Team Region 6, an Oklahoma Licensed Life Insurance Producer, a member of the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer for Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, a past board of directors member of the Okeene Chamber of Commerce, a past Board of Governors and current member, of the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association, and a past Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Oklahoma City Volunteer. 


He and his wife Ronda live in Okeene; the couple shares seven children and one grandchild.

Zack is a Kansas native who moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 2019. He achieved his associates degree in Computer Science from Cowley County Community College and worked in the health care field for several years.  He joined the Brown-Cummings firm in August 2022; he has a heart for serving our families.

Karry grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1986. She is a proud mother to one daughter, a step mom to two sons and a grandmother to eight. She works full time as a Paraprofessional at Enid High School and is a devoted service atteendant at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, listening to music and attending to her yard. Karry loves to help others which is why she loves both of her jobs.

Cynthia was raised and educated in Hunter, Oklahoma and began playing the piano at the age of 5. She has taught piano to many students for over fifty years she says "Playing is a form of worship for me". She moved to Enid in 1963 and began playing the piano and organ for churches in the community. She joined the Brown-Cummings firm in 1976 as the organist. She is the President of the local chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution, and loves "Real" history. She is a proud wife, mother and grandmother.

Gary Miller is an ordained minister. He grew up in Enid attending several different schools until moving to Covington in 1970 with his family. 

While in Covington, Gary accepted God’s call to preach in 1973. Then in 1974 he graduated from high school. 

Later he went to Neosho Missouri where he attended Ozark Bible Institute and graduated in 1979.

During his ministry he pastored in several locations. Ending up in Enid in 2007, Gary was the on-call chaplain at Integris Hospital where he worked for seventeen years ending in February 2024. During that time, he was also the chaplain at Hospice Circle of Love for thirteen years ending in October 2024.

He counts it an honor and privilege to be working at Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
